It’s All About the “Bump”
Having a baby changes everything. That is why it is so important to document every little monumental moment along the way. From the bump, to the birth, I’ve got you covered. I offer maternity and newborn packages, and give a discount for booking both. Maternity sessions generally take place between seven and eight months into your pregnancy. Feel free to bring along a special stuffed animal, baby’s coming home outfit, a sonogram photo in a frame, baby’s first shoes, or any other keepsake you have for your new little bundle.
The Baby Sessions
Your newborn session is tentatively scheduled at the time of your maternity session. Newborn portraits should take place within the first week the baby is home from the hospital, as this is an optimal time when babies sleep and are easy to position for creative portraits. Each newborn session is generally one to two hours and I work around the baby’s schedule. I come to you with props, blankets and accessories, so if you had something special in mind, or like a particular shot, please let me know in advance. I will find the best room in your home that takes advantage of the natural light and capture candid time with you and your new little treasure, as well as studio style portraits.
I also offer Baby’s First Year portrait packages that include 2 or 4 portrait sessions throughout the year.
